Dear
Friend,
Many of the recent editorials deal with the failure of leadership by
Sharon, Arafat and Bush. It is no wonder that other prominent Israelis
and Palestinians felt that the only hope for peace was to meet unofficially
and negotiate the Geneva Accords. Editorials about the Accords have not
yet appeared. Because you may not have time to read all of these editorials,
they are listed roughly in my order of preference.
Sincerely,
Arthur S. Obermayer
