Dear
Friend,
Since the last issue,
the principal editorial subject has been the Geneva Accord. It was a privilege
for me to be there on December 1 and see so many former and current world
leaders and Nobel Peace Prize winners express their support for this initiative.
The words in giant letters behind the podium best capture the mood: "There
is a Plan"; "There is a Partner"; "Peace is Possible".
We all know that it will take time and continuing commitment to turn the
tide and achieve a peace where all parties are winners.
Sincerely,
Arthur S. Obermayer
