Dear
Friend,
In just a three-day
period, over 20 opinion pieces appeared in every newspaper I review about
the assassination of Sheik Yassin. They expressed no remorse at his assassination,
but uniformly felt that it was a mistake because it is bound to accelerate
the spiral of violence and revenge. Included here are the ten I consider
best written and most distinctive in order of preference; I especially
commend the first one.
As usual, let me know
either if you want to suggest additional names to add to our list or if
you want your name removed.
Sincerely,
Arthur S. Obermayer
